Pregnancy after loss is just...different.
You are SO protective of this pregnancy, and that makes sense. You're guarding your heart.

I've walked the path of PAL. And even though I was a doula at the time (literally functioning as a doula for a community of those pregnant after infertility or loss), I was not exempt from spiraling about symptoms. I'd hit up Google for a quick answer and end up tabs deep in anxiety over it.

I don't want that for you.
Pregnancy comes with a grab bag of symptoms, you never know which ones you'll get. And while some may have obvious answers on how to deal, others might leave you like this.

Hi! I'm Chelsea, and I'm a doula, lactation specialist, and recurrent loss mom.
Why am I a PAL doula?
I've lived it. I'm a mom of two, but to become that I had to also become a recurrent loss mom. From 2019-2022, I lost three pregnancies. It gutted me, and I didn't trust my body to carry a healthy pregnancy. Having a daughter already, I had experienced a blissful, loss free mindset in pregnancy. So when I went through PAL and had my son, I was shocked at how different pregnancy felt for me after enduring so much grief.

I know you deserve the support of a doula just as much as anyone else who's pregnant. I also know that support may look a bit different, and I am here to hold space for you as you navigate this pregnancy and how it affects you. You are not in this alone.
